What model car is the pic of? Those seats look funky.

 

It looks like a stick on piece. Never saw one before.

 

It is an XJ8 (hence the reason for posting in this thread) and I don't believe it isa stick on, it is made by Arden. Also, I have seen a similar one on a Portfolio edition XJ.

OK, not to be a smart *** but have you tried to contact Arden about it?

 

Not yet. I have been aware of them for a number of years. Mina sometimes has some of their products, might try that. Going to the dealer today and will also ask about the portfolio version.

 

Holy Crap!!!!

Just came back from the dealer.It is available. Just the chrome part/insert, not the whole assembly, is just over $600 + tax!!!!

 

Did they give you the part number for it?

 

It was not on the sheet she showed me with the exploded diagram and I did not ask. I have heard the best deal you can get is 20% off of list (dealer margin). I can probably ask for the part number. Do you have an idea?

 

I'm not surprised. Dealer wanted $300+for the chrome trim on the XK.
