Default Comfort Shocks in an XJR

I'm replacing both my rear shocks on my 03 xjr
Have decided I think to go with genuine 'Comfort' Bilstiens which can be had for around 500 sterling each as opposed to genuine 'Sports' Bilstiens which are around 1000 sterling each.

Anyone out there with experience of what effect fitting comforts on the back of an xjr has?
Any comments welcome.

I haven't installed the Comfort Bilsteins on the rear of an XJR, but I have installed them on the front of an XJR and they were just fine. If you're not an aggressive driver, you may even prefer the ride of the Comfort shocks. One thing to be aware of is that the XJR springs may be stiffer than the standard ones, so the Comfort shocks may allow a little more rebound or rocking before settling, but it's not usually much of an issue unless you push the car aggressively.

Cheers,

Don

Thanks Don,

I've found a few other comments and the experience seems to be that there's very little difference in the driving experience between the two specs of shocks.
