Hey guys, without going into a lot of painful details, my super v8 was totaled by my insurance company. No injuries to people or animals, nor damage to any property with the exception of a construction barricade and my beloved car.

Before being towed away to some lucky salvage yard somewhere with the x358 grille, jupiter wheels, and the nicest Ivory interior of any 2005 out there, I managed to pull out some accessories that the insurance company wouldn't give me credit for in the final cash value. I've parted with most of them, save the Rear Multimedia Handbook and a Quick Guide document.

First one to respond who has a car lacking these books, I will mail them to you at no charge.

 

Geez, I haven't checked your thread where you went into details.. But I feel for you man sorry about the car.

So sorry to hear that, your Super V8 was a gem and you kept it that way. Painful for us forum members to hear an XJ being totaled. I hope you were able to pull out that outstanding sound system you installed, I am sure that will be greatly missed also.

I never knew there we're such books for the rear entertainment system, especially the quick reference guide book and the system is quite tricky to use at times. Would be great to have a PDF copy of them and posted on this forum. My car has this system and my 8 year old uses it all the time. I would be willing if you don't have the time. Questions about the use of the system come up from time to time.

I downloaded a copy from topix back in 2012, don't know if it is still available on that site.

 

The handbook, though a little different, is available in PDF format from Topix. The quick reference guide, however, is not.

I've scanned and enhanced it into a PDF file attached. (Right click, and save-as)
If you print it double sided and fold it like the original, you can print your own.
