Default Electrical issue-How to remove front bumper?

Well I finally got my xjr experiencing some electrical issues scanned. After having everything cleared the issue for my front parking sensors and cruise control came back right away. I was told by the guy that although he's never removed the xj bumper, there is generally a plug that allows the harness for all the sensors to remain with the bumper. He feels there may be a possibility with the connection or that plug. He ruled out ground issues as I had awhile back

As a background, my parking sensors would get faults every now and again and go into shut off mode. Now its consistent. Then the cruise control started giving me error messages and now also no longer works. The front middle two sensors come up now as not working when scanned. Of course it could very well just be that my active cruise control sensor and parking assist sensors all happened to go bad at the same time. But he suggested I look into this first.

So does a plug like this exist and if so where? And do I need to remove bumper to access? Help is appreciated as always!

Yes, it's front right (US passenger side) on the lower part of the bumper assembly. The front right wheel will need to come off and you may need to partially move some of the fender lining but I do not believe you will need to take the bumper off.

I've got my XJR up on jack stands with the front wheels removed (replacing the ATF cooler pipes, yuck), so let me see if I can grab a picture.

Ok, so with better weather I took a closer look. It looks like the connector is in front of the washer bottle, which would mean that you don't necessarily have to remove the front right wheel or bumper but only the lower radiator shield. Here's a picture. The connector itself isn't really visible but I'm pointing at it and this shows the overall location. Good luck with it!

All the fasteners on the under trays will be rusted up.
