Thursday 12/15 Started the car after setting for 3 hours. Engine light is on. I drove home and installed FIXd devise. It tells me I have an issue with injector cyl #7. It has been idling a little rough of late. So I poured in an Injector cleaner to thier specs. I have driven it for 4 days. The light goes out above the description but not the engine light. I think I have located the problem but so far it hasn't solved the problem. The last time I drove it was Sunday, yesterday. Everything stays out for about 8 miles then the light comes on and tells me the performance is limited. At idol its rough but under load leaving a stop and up to 55 to 60 MPH nothing. Smooth through the gears you couldn't tell there is a problem. I think its still a dirty injector but would like some input. Thanks in advance for comments

You look to need a better tool - try an elm327.

 

It will be a big help to post the actual code the car is throwing.

I think you mean P0207, P0307, P1316

Sorry to join your thread late. P0207 indicates a problem with the cylinder 7 fuel injector electrical circuit or a failed injector. It probably does not mean that the injector is dirty. The inoperative fuel injector is probably the cause of the P0307 and P1316 misfire codes.

Here is the cylinder numbering diagram for your engine. Cylinder 7 is closest to the firewall/bulkhead on the right side as viewed from the driver's seat, or left side when viewed from the front of the car:



Check the wiring at the fuel injector to confirm that the electrical connector is firmly seated and the wiring is in good condition. It is not uncommon for rodents to chew the wires, or for the insulation to harden and crack with age and thermal cycling. The plastic electrical connector shells are also known to become brittle and crack.
