Found the correct trunk lifter struts - OEM manufacturer Stabilus
I'm sharing this after my own trial and error, the company Stabilus is stamped on the OEM parts, these work perfectly:

The other brands I've tried until finding these all have much too much pressure and are also about 1 centimeter longer and don't dampen smoothly like these, all of which stresses out your hinges and trunk lid.
