Default Front droplink / swaybar bush, not tough enough!

Just thought you blokes might be interested to see what happens if you work the front suspension too hard!

Spot the difference

And....

Yup, pulled the swaybar link right out of the wishbone, left hand side. Never come across this before & neither has the race suspension guy who did the work on the car....

Managed to get a replacement bush locally from ZF, as i'd originally bought all those bushes in from the UK...

Not sure exactly when this happened, I heard the knocking this morning on the way to work, but it was quiet on the way back from the track on Sunday. And I only noticed the floaty front end when I took the car out on Tuesday (took the ute on Monday)...so who knows...

It's probably got a lot to do with the track, Wakefield Park has a couple of very hard right-handers. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ck-day-105254/

Scared the hell out of me though, the noise sounded very expen$ive! Will be sorted out on Friday.

No this is on the front, stock swaybar & original swaybar bushes. Just new droplinks & bushes in the wishbone.

The rear bar is the XKR-S one, no issues up the back.

I'd be worried it would happen again because the hole as gotten too loose to hold the bushing. Do you know how tight the bushing went in? Maybe add some big washers to help keep it from popping out on track days.
