INFORMATION about 2006 XJR
 

Hi everybody, i wanted your input on a 2006 XJR I'm looking at.

It has right at 47000 KM. only 1 owner, looks very good black with red color inside.

Really no service records besides the carfax. No winter, the car was stored in a heated garage for the winter.

This car is rare in my region Montréal Québec Canada

Asking 22 995$ CDN.

What you guys think would be fair if everything checks out.

I'll made a road test this week, and I' ll probably ask a jaguar dealer to check the entire car.

Price is about right if the car is in excellent condition, especially since its low mileage. If the car is a private sale it may be a bit high. Do you want a rear wheel drive car for the winter or is this a second car?

Repair records are always helpful. Big issues that appear in the forums, air shocks needing repair. Radiator overflow tank cracks and needs replacement. miscellaneous electrical problems can come from corrosion with the aluminum body, which can be an issue in your part of the world. So I would want to be sure everything works electrically and that the coolant levels or right where they should be. Having the car checked out at a dealership is probably well worth the money.
