Interior ambient lighting
 

I just bought an 08 XJ8 and I must say, it's a wonderful car.

However, I have one problem with it. Compared to my other cars, the interior ambient lighting is terrible. Most luxury cars have footwell lighting, rear overhead lighting, door pull lighting, etc. All the XJ has is one overhead light (asnd those two pointless ones lighting the rear overhead pulls) I'm sure it would be difficult to wire LED's in the doorpulls, but is there anyway to have the footwell lights run on very low voltage? In other words, could I set it up so they are always on, but only barely, just enough to give a soft glow? Also, is there any ways I could use the rear doorpull LED's to light up the backseat area?

Nevefr heard of this question so please allow me to look at an 08 Xj tomorrow and let you know. Is it base model or SuperV8, XJR etc. please let me know.
