Hello every one, I am salling jaguar parts. Please need help.
I have a problem with Freight shipping company SAIA.
I shipped the jaguar xj8 2005 V8 engine , weight was 465lbs , paid $300.
SAIA freight reweight the engine and sent me new invoice for $651 extra and they told me the engine weight is 685lbs
In total they charge me for shipping from Texas to Florida $1000 - terrible freight company and this situation.
Please any one who know exactly weight of 2005 jaguar XJ8 v8 engine ( with out ac compressor, throttle body, starter, power steering pump)

I suggest that you pay the money and get the engine back and then take it

to a weighbridge or similar and have the engine weighed with any packing.

Take photos and keep written evidence.

If they trying it on take them to a local small claims court but research that beforehand.
