Lowered My XJR For 48 Cents

The gap on the rear I found is fine to me, but when the car suspension is in driving mode the front appeared to high. I installed 2 pairs of washers per side under each ride sensor mount where the 2 bolts go through, which will lower the car 13mm. It is amazing how much the small difference makes in the stance of the car! In rest mode it still sits nice as well...It doesn't look to low after sitting...8 Hillman washers @ 6 cents each to make your car look better...Such a deal!

You can go lower if you wish...I just wanted to close the front gap down modestly...Each washer equals 1/4 or 6.5mm of drop. So 2 washers under each bolt equal 1/2 inch or 13mm of drop. 3 washers equal 3/4 or 19.5mm of drop, and so on..3 washers made it look to low in rest mode to me.The same goes for the rear if you want that lower too...Do not over tighten the sensor mounting bolts or they will strip and you be using self tapping bolts instead!!! No noticeable difference in ride that I could tell!
