Hi all; so, I have read all the tech help on the parking assist, but I am still stunned. All 8 of my modules are making a great clicking noise, but it is not ringing when I get to close to an object both drive and reverse. I noticed for the last 4-5 months the parking assist would go off for no reason while driving. I cleaned off one module about a month ago and it worked, but now it doesn't and i blew air around the modules to no avail. I see where the module box is in the rear, left inside of the trunk... what do I do now? I am stumped. Oh, I have a 2006 VDP. thank you for your help.

 

so, I went to the Jag dealership and they said the drivers side park assist up front, closest to the middle has only a slight click (much softer than the rest of the modules).. and the mechanic said I need to get it replaced because it shut down the whole system all the way around. they want $600-700 for repair/replace. this sounds nuts. I also went to a second repair place that only repairs high end cars and they quoted me $95/hour to take off the bumper and see if the there is any corrosion or if the wiring is bad (repair), and IF I need another sensor it will be about $110 more. WHAT IS YOUR TWO CENTS about this? thank you
