I believe the sensor is part of the latch mechanism. We have lots that we sell used. Now take this with a grain of salt and wait for JagTech guy to confirm that I'm not leading you off the trail.

sounds like it is the right front door.. cus all others when open say "rear passenger door open" and drivers say "drivers" so problem is in the right front.. i wud say it needs a latch for passenger front. as ken said it is in the latch

you cant try a hard reset by disconnecting the negative battery terminal and undoing it from the battery and touch the positive with it and wait 2 minutes.. but i doubt it wud do any good.

Nah....once the switch is bad, pretty much bad.
As Genius said, passenger front door latch. Easy to change.
Just to verify though, open drivers door and make sure message changes to driver door open, then passenger door open, and back and forth, then open both rear doors and message should cycle thru drivers door ajar, passenger door ajar, drivers rear door ajar, passenger rear door ajar.
If this happens then 100% passenger front door latch!
