Radio Replacement

I've been seeing some conflicting information regarding the parts that are needed to replace the factory radio in the XJ8. I'll provide the details first.
Vehicle: Stock, 2004 XJ8 4.2ltr NA, with base CD player lower and radio center. No cell phone module or any other Aux options.
New Head Unit: 2Din 7" Android with all the bells and whistles including GPS, SIM Card/WiFi, Camera & Auxillary in.

I wondering what to expect in this as it's my first Jaguar. I've integrated factory amps before on 00 and older BMWs and Mercedes.
First thing in looking for is a verified parts list for the dash, wiring harness, steering wheel controls, and antenna connection.
Next, is this going to be plug and play or should I expected to be in for a speaker install also?
I installed probably 100+ full systems and they all have their quirks. I'm just looking for the info and things to watch for.

Thanks and I look forward to being a member here.

A little extra detail

The dash kit can be a basic kit and finish. I do Hydrographics as a side gig so I'm going to hydrodip all the radio trim in a matching wood finish. If anyone else needs it wants this I'll post some pics, just gimme a shout. It's inexpensive and durable. Basically anything that's paintable can be dipped.

The only dash kit made that bolts in is designed for the S-Type/X-Type but it leaves about a 1/4 inch space on each side as the S-type has a narrower center console. It also comes in matte black and not glossy black. I used it anyway, painted it with 2 coats gloss black and two coats clear. Crutchfield gave to to me for free with the radio purchase.

You also need a wiring harness,

And an antenna adaptor

You may also need a steering wheel control adaptor if you want to use the steering wheel controls with your new radio. Can't help with the other stuff as I didn't use/need them. The radio install was very straight-forward if you have done this type of thing before in other cars. The speakers are a bit more trouble. They are 6 3/4", not 6 1/2 like some of the websites suggest. But there is plenty of room for adaptor plates should you want to install smaller (or slightly larger) speakers.
