re P0420P0320 engine remap XJ8
 

So I had been getting P0420 and P0430 fault code lights on the dash since I fitted 200 cell cats and new 2/1/4 inch exhaust system on my XJ8 X350 last year

I ended up talking to Lachlan at chiptorque about it and 3 weeks later I have the car back they have installed their Euro-Flash-tune-Dyno

Seems he had to remove my ecu and do a modification to it only picked the car up yesterday hasn't thrown a code yet so I am happy so far

It does seem to go better as well this afternoon I stepped on it and the traction control kicked in pretty quick pity about the open diff in these cars

I was tempted to switch of the traction control then thought big deal its an open wheeler of course its going to spin one wheel

I have attached the dyno graph its a bit of a increase but nothing spectacular although she does seem to have more midrange power

I will be taking it o a trip to Sydney soon see how much better on the open road she goes

So far I'm pretty happy just not at the cost LOL
