Side Mirror Replacement and Door Panel Clips

2004 XJR

I had to replace my right side view mirror after my son used it as a bodyweight bearing structure to gain access to something. My mirror (C2C39415) had the power park feature. In searching for this, I learned that it had been discontinued, and unable to find a used part online, I installed C2C39413 w/o power park. Does anyone know why it was discontinued?

The mirror has been reinstalled. In removing the plastic trim that covers the mirror nuts, I highly recommend unscrewing the torx bolt below it on the inside of the door so that you can slide the trim piece free rather than forcing it out and likely breaking it in the process.

In removing the door panel, one of the black “male” clips broke. Thankfully, these are not a part of the panel itself, and I was able to find replacements on Parts Geek. I was not, however, able to find the green female clip that, again, thankfully, are removable and not part of the door. I think it prudent to have extras on hand. Does anyone know the part number? Thanks.

Thank you. I appreciate your generosity, but I suspect that I can find some on eBay or online. I was hoping that someone knew the part number.

I am not 100% sure, but I would say that it is item no. 9 in the picture of this link:

Part no.: C2C19545

Best regards,

Thomas
