Looking at purchasing a 2008 XJ with the navigation system. It saua ot has bluetooth capability. Does this mean I will be able to stream my apps like Pandora or TuneIn radio to the phone? I have gotten accustomed to life without CDs.

 

no it will not stream apps . you will need an ACM (audio connectivity module) if it doesn't have one already . (very expensive) check under your arm rest in the center console as most people fit them there .

or there are fm modulators that work ok . and also the parrot ,
but no were near the quality of the sound in comparison to the first two options

Do a search here for veffremov; he has a streaming audio box that replaces the cd changer. This box allows for streaming all your favorite apps to the in car radio.

Very easy install, too.

Having an '07 XJR myself, I'm quite sure that Pandora's Box is factory installed on these cars.

To properly open it, just start driving. To expedite things, just start boasting to friends and neighbors about what a wonderful, reliable car the Jag is

Your so witty. We have all found and opened that box option on all of our Jags. This is a standard option from Jaguar on all models.
