Default Sport suspension for XJR no longer made?

I've been looking at replacing my leaking shock for my 05 XJR and I've just been shown a fax message from the Bilstein agent (who apparently is the OEM for our air-shocks) to my parts supplier that the sports shocks BL3-6951 are now longer made and they are replaced by the 6950, which is the part number for the comfort shocks. Apparently what is left at the jaguar dealerships now are the old stocks of the sport suspension system according to the supplier over here. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

Contact Arnott Enterprises in Florida, they rebuild these air shocks.

Thanks, yes, that's where I'm trying to get my replacements from. I'm just rather surprised that this is no longer available for a car that is only a few years old. I find this rather disturbing and wonder whether other R specific parts will also go this way soon...

The X350 training guide says they are "Krupp Bilstein damper and air spring assemblies" so that makes sense.

The new ones I saw at the parts dealer for the comfort shocks are Bilsteins. I wonder if there are multiple OEM's.

If you follow the link I posted you will see that they appear to be all the same company.

Ah so... that explains it. Different parts of the same name... but can anyone confirm that what I heard is true, that the sports suspension spares are no longer being made and are replaced by the comfort ones?
