Throttle Body 2-wire female plug disintegrated
After doing some work around the Throttle Body on my 2004 XJ VDP, I found that the two-wire female connector from the wiring harness that attaches to the back of the Throttle Body disintegrated. It's obviously the heat caused this plug to crumble. I would like to replace the plug and after searching the forum and internet I have not been able to identify this generic plug. It would appear this is a common issue. Has anyone found a suitable replacement? I was able to replace the existing partial plug (orange/white wire) below into the socket.
After searching for hours I found the Motorcraft WPT1269 plug that looks close (view of WPT1269). I would greatly appreciate all assistance in locating a suitable replacement for this plug.

Replacement Throttle Body 2-wire plug solution found
The Ford Motorcraft Part# (WPT 1269) wiring kit is the perfect replacement. Ordered parts kit from Rock Auto @ $24.79 which includes plug with pig tail, heat shrink tubing and crimp connectors. Installed in minutes as the balance original plug crumbled away. Perfect fit.
Installed replacement plug and pig tail with crimp connectors and heat shrink tubing.
Added split wire loom tubing and plugged into socket on throttle body.
Motorcraft Part WPT-1269 is the perfect match and readily available.

Always feels good to fix it back like it was with a part that you can almost afford, nice work.
That is where everyone helping each other, exchanging information, on this site is invaluable.
Feels even better when the part not supposed to fit, does, cost a lot less, and is often available locally.
Often the Ford dealer, to acquire the original part.
