Default Transmission pan leak ? 2006 XJR

So last year (probably less than 500 miles ago) I saw some fluid on the floor under the Jag. Just a couple drops nothing major and I had had an oil change and thought that's what it was and didn't smell it. Then the trans started to lurch a little, you guys mentioned trans service and reflash which I was going to do but life took over and I never got it in.

Skip ahead to a couple weeks ago and I drove her one day and she had the bad lurching thing again which I hadn't felt the few times before this I had driven it. So I called the dealership to get the car in and they kind of refused which is in a different thread. However I have noticed a lot more fluid on the garage floor, and yes it is trans fluid. Not is leaks all the time driven or not.

Well I just put her up and took some pics, whole rear of the pan is wet, dripping in some places. Hard to tell in the pic but its wet. The fluid apparently flew back and is on trans support and parts there after also. The wetness rolls up both sides of the pan towards the front but the front of the pan and center are dry.

My amateur automotive knowledge says the trans pan is shot as I do not see anything else leaking any higher on the trans.

Here is pic which shows the drain plug area. Looking for thoughts as I now refuse to take this to the Jag dealer since they don't want my business. Plus I don't want to drive it with low fluid. If its the pan gasket I can do that myself and then change the fluid and filter but am curious if anyone else has had this problem. I did a quick search and didn't see anything specific to this model (350) and trans pan leak.

Ok Im an idiot its leaking at the front not the back I was under the car and got my ends mixed up. Possible electrical connector ?

Any thought or comments would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have had a similar problem and it's likely to be the mechatronic seal leaking.

Unfortunately you have to remove the pan to release the seal and replace it.

I was going to say it is probably the mechatronic sleeve as well. Mine has a slight weep and will be done when the weather warms up a bit.
