Trying to find how to connect a CD Changer to the system of a 2009 Jaguar XJ Portfoli

First, you will need a changer from another system like yours. Then you will need the mounting hardware for the boot. The D2B cable should already be in the harness in the boot and you will need to remove the jumper to plug into the changer, and it's power connector. You will then need to have the changer installed as a dealer option using SDD.

When I added VACM and Bluetooth modules I went thru some recognition routine on the head unit display and they were both recognised.

If you're vehicle is equipped, then yes. Otherwise you'll need SDD. The OP didn't specify what system his vehicle is equipped with.
