Will S-Type Mercury Wheels Work?

I really like the look of the chrome "Mercury" wheels fitted on some 05-and above S-Types. Can the X350 wear these? Furthermore, if they are both OEM 18" wheels, can I replace pulls the tires off my Dynamics and put them on the Mercurys?

It looks like they're both 18"x8" with the same bolt pattern at 108mm, but the offset on the Mercury is listed as 60mm, while the Dynamics are 49mm. I'm afraid I'm not well versed on how tire and wheel sizes/dimensions work, but it seems like it probably would work. Would I need a spacer to accommodate the offset?

Nevermind. According to Tire Rack, they're different tire sizes. Oh well.

Wait a minute, does that really matter? Maybe the cars themselves need different size tires, not the wheels themselves?

Hey XJ8JR. Yep, you would need an 11mm spacer assuming the wheel is a positive offset. Ideally hub centric. The other non hub centric create balancing and road handling performance issues IMNSHO.
