Default XJ350 Repair Manual - There is some humor to be had

Should you look hard enough...

I recently obtained (downloaded) a x350 XJ8 Repair/service manual.

Awesome set of documents. Has 100's of codes and descriptions listed and great detail on some common repair jobs like springs, air compressor, brakes etc... - eh, gearbox.... Nah I'll leave that one...

It is in reserve should I ever have to use...

Despite the boring nature of some sections there is humor to be had in reading the complete document ... The section that details "General Steering System Noises" is worthy of note. I attach a small excerpt below, unedited. Watch out for distant thunder storms and angry dogs .... I am from Scotland working in the US now for 25 years and I have to say - this is typically British old chap - sound description associations - awesome!!! . I have to admit tho most is boring -- 60-80 pages of cautions and warnings is bit too much. I read them all of course !!!

Enjoy!! - Test will be posted next week..
