Default XJR running a little rough after Mina CAI

I've had the Mina CAI for about two months. Last week, I started noticing the car was running a little rough and immediately I got a CEL, code P2676, air cleaner inlet control circuit low.

Any chance the CAI caused this? Am I looking at replacing the MAF Sensor? Part#2w93-12b579-ag.

Can it be cleaned?

I'm thinking about putting the stock air box back in.

Thanks,

Sounds like that code pertains to the air inlet flap at the bottom of the airbox. I assume you have an electrical connector that isn't doing anything now that you don't have the stock air box in there?

If the stock airbox with the flap is not there, then the only thing you can do to clear the code is put the stock airbox back in or rig up the flap so the electrical system going with it thinks it's still there.

My question is, would that cause rough idle? The car feels a little as when a spark plug is bad. When you accelerate you feel/hear this a very slight "thu thu thu thu" sound.

It also sounds like a slight exhaust leak. I did install the Mina Exhaust.

So I just drove the car for a while after cleaning the MAF sensor and changing the Mina CAI cone filter for a Dryflow Cone from AEM which provides better filtration and I didn't notice any rough idle, etc.

Not sure if the MAF cleaning and the better filter had anything to do with it.

Also, yesterday was pretty humid and rainy.

I opted for a K&N filter in the stock box & a flap removal over the Mina filter system. I heard reports from others, that their cone filter was a cheapo.

That is exactly why I removed the "el cheapo" Mina filter and installed a Dryflow AEM cone. Luckily I had a reducer flange from a CAI is bought for my Grand Cherokee which I took off two days after installing it. Didn't like the sound. Anyways I was able to install the AEM which was something like 6" ID.

My Magnaflow exhaust has been blowing people away, lots of good comment from people that hear/feel it. Kitty is Magnablown

Mina S/C pulley is on its way too.

I'm envious! My Mina exhaust is too tame. The stock boxes sounded better with the x-pipe. I just didn't like the skinny exhaust tips. The Minas are beautiful but too quiet.

I've had the pulley sitting in my garage for the last two months. I have to install it.

Are those Mina boxes 14 or 18 inches long? The original XJRs are 18, I went with 14inch Magnaflows.

I want to say 18". They seemed longer than 14 for sure.
