1997 Jaguar XJ-6 - Alarm Problems

Hi, i have a 97 XJ-6 and this thing when ever it is wet outside, or foggy, basically when my car gets water on it, the alarm will just go off randomly. Another problem is when ever i lock the car, sometimes the car keeps "locking" 3/4 times after the initial lock. Like if you were locking it again and again...

These problems started after i got a light out warning, and i fixed the bulb that was out which was the front drivers side fog light.

I have Google searched a way to fix this but i cannot find anything. Anybody have any suggestions!

Sounds to me like you may have a leak that is messing with your module. First id check around where you replaced the bulb to see if there is any water leaking in there causing a short, then id check in the trunk on the drivers side where the security locking module is and check for good connection and if any water is leaking on it. Others will chime in and may have better ideas,, but its a good start.
