Default 1997 XJ6L Removal of trunk hinge

Trying to remove and replace fuel pump. Fuel tank filler tube is hitting trunk lid hinge. Is it easy to remove this left side trunk hinge, or the comple trunk and hinges?

Sorry for the double post. I will try not to do that again. Feel free to delete this one. If I knew how, I would delete it myself.

It's a tight fit, but you should be able to bring it out only displacing the plastic hinge-cover, no need to pester the hinge.

In case it helps: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...quired-163902/

Thanks, I only had to disconnect the hinge strut and it now moves far enough for access to the pump.
The links and photos provided are very helpful and now I know what to expect.
Still think the design from Jaguar could have been better!
