Default 1997 XJR some adjustments of the driver seat don't work, others do

I am unable to move the driver's seat forward or backward. I can move the rear part of the bottom cushion up and down. I can sometimes recline the seat and sometimes bring it back. When I try to move the seat forward or backward I can hear clicking sound inside the module.

The IDS reports the following errors:
B1664 - rear seat motor jammed
B2306 - seat head restraint motor jammed
B1666 - seat backrest recline motor jammed

I have tried the following:

1. Replaced the module, swapped with a "known good" used module. It made no difference.

2. Replaced the complete seat, with a "known good" used seat. It made no difference.

Which brings me to the conclusion that there may be a circuit, relay or fuse in the car itself that's a problem. Could somebody please point me where to look?

The manual seems to suggest that "A" post base fuse box may have something to do with this. I am unsure where said fuse box is, exactly.

A friend of mine used to work for a ford dealership that closed down. I bought a VCM I with cables, installed an appropriately ancient version of IDS on a laptop with windows XP. He has another VCM for sale, I can ask him how much he wants for it. I can help test and set it up for a fellow forum member.

I'd love to have a copy of IDS, so very helpful... probably too much money though based on what I've seen before

But no harm asking
