Hi can anyone help.me out ? I have a 96 Jaguar v6 turn over but can't hear pump on or no spark

 

With the key in the on position before start the fuel pump relay will click on then off in 3 seconds . Put your finger on it a king relay clicks close by . When the Crankshaft position sensor sees rotation it tells the ECU to click back on the relay for the duration of the drive .

Once the battery drops below 11.4 volts the ECU dies and will not give your spark or fuel . Watch your voltage gauge for sagging value .

 

I had replace relay I had.replace the pump also still no gas or spark

You may want to confirm that you actually have a 1996 XJ-6, aka X300 before taking too much advise from us here in this section. It should have an I-6 (inline 6, rather than a V configuration) known as the AJ-16

 

There are 2 fuses

Do you have The SC engine with 2 fuel pumps ?

One fuse that controls the relay as the ECU provides it with a commanded ground .



And the power through the relay to the pump . # 7 / 30 amp trunk fuse box .

The # 1 fuse is always next and closest to the fuse block terminal post .

For future use thus is your WD and your fuel pump is on page 57 upper left corner .
