Any X300 Owners in Syracuse, NY area?
 

Any forum members with experience with X300s (or I guess 90's to early 2000's Jags) in the Syracuse, NY area? I need someone to view/test drive an X300 in the area (specifically located in Minoa), Have already had good mechanic's report but would like another opinion. I'm in NC and don't want to take time and expense of flying to NY for a lemon. Glad to compensate. Please email me privately at john@johnjackman.com!

Back story -- my beloved 1997 VandenPlas "Miss Kitty" was totaled last week by a hit-and-run driver. I searched six months all over the east coast five years ago to find one in excellent condition, have poured a lot of work and money into her, and the insurance will now only give me about half of what is invested. Hard to find a good replacement quickly, and since she was my daily driver, I can't take months to find the perfect replacement. I have tons of X300 parts and know the cars pretty well. THANKS!

Car was legally parked, the fellow must have been doing 55 in a 35 zone -- moved the car two spaces.
