Default cd manuals compatibility

I just purchased a 1995 x300, and I bought a Jaguar cd tech guide. I can not get it to run on my vista 64 bit computer or my xp laptop. I also have service and tech manuals on cd for my '88 xjs. It does work on my xp machine but not the vista machine. Do any of you have that problem? Or, is it me. LOL!

No it is not you, if you check out the Gen Tech section (I think), you will find compatibility issues with 64bit.

I can't remember the exact thread, but if you do a search in there, you will find some info on this.

Another thing, on your Vista machine if you install Virtual PC and then here install XP you might be in with a chance.

It is like a PC within a PC.

sorry your having this problem. I run the cds on my toshiba laptop which unfortunately operates on vista, but I have no problems--runs fine. Someone told me it has something to do with which series of adobe you are running. Good luck--scott
