Hi Guys,

I read on here the other day that this section can be removed and the dent on the chrome face can be got out if very careful

Attachment 174275

Tips on to remove the chrome face centre section and how to remove the slight dent appreciated

You need to get the bumper off first. The good news is only two bilts hold it on....the bad news is that the alloy surrounding them and the brass captive nuts in the bumper beam can be problematic. The alloy can turn to dust and the brass nut's might seize and become detached from the beam.
As you live in Lancashire I'm not optimistic about your chances here - unless the job has been done before and parts replaced. Worse case cenario is you will need 2 bumper mounts (£35 each??) and a bumper beam (£50 second hand??)
Have a good look if you can at the alloy parts of the mount that the two larke bolts pass up through. If they look ok then go for it. Also, see if the bumper has any play in it up and down at the back but also at the wheel arches as side mounts can also rust through.
Once the bumper is off then the beam is removed, there will be tags that need to be removed to get the chrome trim off. I'm not sure if it could be easily worked to remove the dent but perhaps a panel beater could advise.
I've a dent in the front bumper's trim and would like it fixed so am interested to hear other's replies.
