Default cleaning A/C in 2002 XJR

Hi
Is there a way to clean the A/C in my 2002 XJR
I have used sprays but they only seem to last a few weeks before the moldy smell returns

Welcome to the forum oolaioolai,

Are you using the aerosol type that you activate inside the vehicle with the engine running and A/C on Recirc?

I've found this type used with the A/C on maximum High during the cleaning process clears the odours for a year or more.

Several years ago my Jaguar Dealer recommended cycling the A/C on max High and then max Low for a few minutes each month as a way of keeping the A/C efficient. Done it ever since and it works.

When you get a minute, please follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...-intro-must-5/ to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST section and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Graham
