Climate Control Module Error

My climate control just gave me the "Er" error message with the five beeps, but now it seems to have changed it's mind because there have been no more errors on subsequent starts and everything seems to be working OK. Should I be concerned?

I have had this ever since I got my X300. Mine is caused by the air temperature sensor which is located in the air intake in behind the front bumper, passenger side. Mine is missing, but I have gotten used to it. Only thing I am missing is reading of outside temperature when the button on the dash is activated.
By the way Oubadah, where are you located in NZ?
I would love to check out your interior lighting mods.
Would love to do similar to my XKR!

I'm in Auckland too.

It's not a 'bad' thing. It probably came off when you pulled up too far and was nicked off by a curb. Lift the car (front end), and check if the afore mentioned sensors are there. There are two (I think). I know there is one on the driver's side, and maby one on the passenger's side (I don't know what it does, but driver's is for the outside temp).

If that's not it, I don't know what it is. I'm sure you can get a new sensor somewhere.
