Yesterday i was diagnosing a sound in bellhousing like flexplate rubbing when i noticed if im driving and coast decelerate you can hear a grinding noise coming from the rear wheel or driceshaft areas. If i put it in neutral and just let car slow itself as it gets closer to stopping the rear wheels lock up then unlock and do it again beforeit stops they lock up quite violently as soon as put load on it again it goes fine again?
in reverse i can let it drive itself it gets so far then almost stops like theres a stop i have to use accelerator get it to start reversing again so must be when i accelerate drivetrain straightens up or something? Theres no slipping of gearcjange at all but im wondering if this iswhats also causing my flexplate rubbing noise?

That could be a half shaft universal failing. Pretty easy to check.
