Correct idle RPM when in gear?

Curious what the correct idle RPM should be when the car is in gear.

It idles between 700-800 in Neutral or Park, and drops to about 600-700(closer to 600) when in gear, so just checking if that is what is expected.

Per the document, which BTW is a VERY helpful reference:

Target stable idle speeds: Park / Neutral – 700 rpm
(normal operating temperature) Drive / R, D 2, D 3 – 580 rpm

Idle speed ± 30 rpm when coolant temperature is less than 86˚F (30˚C)
Idle speed ± 20 rpm when coolant temperature is 86˚F or higher

Isn't 4.0 and 3.2l different when it comes to idle RPM? As far as I remember they are, 3.2l should idle slightly higher than 4.0. Mine definitely did.
