Cruise control
Just need to check if this is common. SO when I set my cruise control it works great, however, it is a little jerky in that just a little down or uphill you can actually feel it engage or disengage. Not real smooth. Is that because of the straight 6 torque?

In your field of work you may be able to put a resistor in series with the dedicated vacuum pump to calm it down
The same issue is with the traction control actuator being too aggressive but is isolated from the cruise control until it mechanically ties into the throttle cable See page 83 of the wiring guide The Purple / Green wire after the LSS3 splice Ideas ? |
Hmmm let me look into that. That may be a possibility...Thx

Maybe start with a 5 ohm and step up and see what feels better
I take that back on isolation as they talk to each other so the traction control when triggered should relax the cruise control without fully turning it off Pin 9 of the Speed Control Module Just guessing how it should have been designed Replace the 2 backlight bulbs first and see what you get The LED driver chip can be replaced once you see a part number stamped on it I am assuming the mileage memory is not in this driver chip To replace the chip use a liquid soldier flow method that a cell phone repair shop would have the skill sets |
