Default Door speaker size

Can anyone tell me what the door speaker size is for a 95 xj6 Front and rear? I've heard 5 1/4, 5 1/2, 6 or 6 1/2 but i haven't been able to find a for sure answer. Also would I need re-wiring anything when installing new aftermarket door speakers or will they just wire to the factory wires?

You pick. They will all fit depending on how you mount them. I would go with the 6 1/2. That is what I put in mine and they sound great. I would go with the separate tweeter and woofer. Just find a place to install them that you like. I went with the infinity speakers...

I just done mine today and used Kenwood KFC-1666S in all four doors. I placed 5/16 stand offs

(held in place with a dab of hot melt glue) under the speaker face to lift them away from the surround so that the Cone of the speaker did not touch. They have the mount holes pre drilled in the speaker so no drilling required
