hi my xj x300 exec 3.2 failed on emissions will lambard sensors make a diffrence

'lambda' sensors COULD be the issue, or possibly cat failure, all depends what part of the emissions test it failed on; definately worth a plug in on a suitable diagnostic, will need this anyway if replacing the lambda sensor/s, as they require orentation to your car.

 

I have had rear new cats and emmisions were ok when engine hot canged tempreture sensure and now going to change 2x lambard thanks

finaly got xj x300 thriugh mot had new rear cats 2 new lambard sensors and i had a lot of small holes in last box on eghsaust this was causing high readings on lambo thus failed mot now i have a problem with a slight miss fire on quite a high idle tick over but it does not affect overal driving any ideas thanks i have had new plugs
