help! - photo of Manual XJ40/X300 manual gearbox mount

Can anyone please help me with a photo of the rear gearbox mount for a manual car? preferably X300 XJR with the Getrag 290 gearbox

My car has failed it's inspection because the Govt in its infinite wisdom has changed the rules 3x in 12 months and my XJR is now classified as a 'modified vehicle' because it was originally an auto but is now converted to a manual
In the past 3 days I have been bounced around in circles from the inspector to the certifier and back to the inspector again, who seems bewildered and scared of liability if I have a crash. Health and Safety gone mad

Anyway, to get around all this mess, I probably need to source new manual brake pedal and clutch pedal and fit these to my pedal box.
I also need to try to prove the gearbox is properly mounted. There is an aluminium ladder frame bolted across the rear end of the Getrag box, with two long strips of 1/4" steel bolted to the chassis rails as 'spacers'. This may well be factory standard, given the manual car was low volume.

Can anyone oblige me of a photo or two of their factory manual rear gearbox mount?
thanks in advance...

Al,

No got snaps, dont even know of a manual car hereabouts.

Maybe this link will assist a bit.

The 3.2 and 4.0 manual cars have the same part number for that crossfarme. The R crossframe is a different number, BUT, it only lists the R as Auto.

The rubber mount appears the same number, but on this one the R is a NO mention??.

thanks Grant
Ive since talked to Ray the previous owner
the 2 long strips of steel between the transverse mount bracket and chassis rails were added by him to improve the driveshaft angle off the back of the gerarbox, and to strengthen the mounting area . Apparently no extra holes were drilled so it should not be a problem

Hi! Unfortunately I don't have a place where to shoot it from below, this was taken in a hurry during the registration technical checkup. It's a Getrag 260 thou. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9...lhPRWZ5MDZJYXc
