Default leaking fuel pipe under back arch

after 8 months off the road my 94 x300 sov has developed a leak from the metal pipe under the back arch coming off the fuel filter, sweeping round and going along the length of the car
looks to have a rusty patch
can this be fixed with fuel inj hose or is a full metal pipeline mandatory?

if so,,is the pipe available?

I had exactly same issue. You can patch it up with fuel hose - that's what I did as a temporary measure (although I didn't use car on road with this fix) but you can expect it to start leaking somewhere else soon. I'm not sure whether it would be an MOT fail or not to have rubber hose - I suspect not.

Replacement pipes are expensive (around 160 GBP for the feed pipe I think) and I think they are NLA. I'm just in the process of making my own from copper/nickel pipe and I'll post some details / pictures when I'm finished.

I've replaced the feed pipe before with a new one. Not a DIY job unless you have access to a car lift, as the car had to be about 5 feet in the air to complete this tedious job. Replace fuel filter while you are at it (another tedious job).

Just patched mine in exactly the same area with some high quality Injector hose and four fuel line clips. I heated the hose in very hot water to make it more pliable then ensured that I covered around three to four inches either side of the split and used two fuel hose clips either side. These are like jubilee clips but have a totally smooth inside so it doesn't rip into the hose when tightening.

Guy at the MOT station advised this is OK.
However, I now have another leak which runs down from the top of the shock mount area so I suspect the pipe n the tank has given up. Any ideas would be appreciated.
