My 96 XJR was badly neglected by a previous owner hence the seats are in very poor condition with a non-functional control module for the driver side. The guy I got the car from picked up a set of front and back seats out of a standard XJ6 that are in great shape that came with the car. Lo and behold the seats are from a 98 to 2003 car with the Ford control modules. I hesitate to convert the car harness to the Ford control modules so, I will convert the seats to the original TRW control modules.

The dilemma: Adapt the newer seat harness's to the TRW control modules or swap the seat cushions and coverings to the original frames?
