LH turn signal/fog lamp not working

My 1997 VDP has a fast flashing LH turn signal (front not working) bulbs are both new. Furthermore the LH fog lamp does not work either, bulb is also new, no blown fuses, is there a connector that may be corroded somewhere? This a common thing? Other than this I love the car, and it doesnt really have any other issues.

Time to get down and dirty with the Jag.

Where the front undertray meets the LH guard and the wheel arch liner, in front of the wheel, it a multi pin connector.

There is one on each side of the car.

This WILL BE that problem. Spray it liberally with WD40 or similar, pull the 2 bits apart, check for corroded male/female connectors, clean as required, spray it again, reassemble, see what happens.

Common??, getting that way.

Than you so much! I'll get her up in the air this weekend and check it out, thats a great perk of working in a shop, access to lifts and whatnot. I havent changed the oil yet, so I think I'll take care of that too.

Sweet.

While you are at it do the trans/diff/brake fluid/power steer fluid, the components and the car will luv you for it.

Changed the oil, and did a power steering exchange, disconnected and reconnected the connectors (in the LH wheelhouse) using wurth contact cleaner OL. Everything works! Thanks for the help! I'll be making a fresh thread soon about either converting my head unit to an excellent pioneer unit I took from my mercedes, or trying to figure out what is wrong with my current changer. Thanks to all, and stay tuned!
