Lower Timing Chain Tensioner

I am replacing all of the chains, guides and both tensioners on the XJR6. The upper one was replaced by a new unit. Unfortunately the bottom tensioner body is not available ( that i could find anyway). Accordingly the one-way valve and piston were put on the shopping list.Luckily the valve body cylinder looks ok.
The question is "how do I remove the valve ( EAC 4647)". I cant find any info on the task so its probably simple...however mine doesn't want to budge.
Many thanks for reading Charlie

You probably wont without destoying it.

I soaked my body unit in solvent for a dew days, and cleaned it as best I could, and it all works just fine. Compressed air, set at 40psi, and blew through it, no issues at all.

Just double check that the actual piston "fires off" prior to putting the cover back on. I was 100% mine fired off, but nope. so off with that cover and heave into that sucker so the ratchet actually went off. It will NOT fire off like the top one, although is is the same part.
