New O2 sensor or bad wire?
2 Attachment(s)
Here's a Torque screenshot. One of my sensors have no reading at all.
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...ine=1400589957 Can I guess that the bank 1 downstream sensor is dead and replacement is in order? |
could be the Elm 327 adapter.....
|
Yeah, the scanner is simply showing no reading, which IS NOT what a result of bad sensor. Any codes?
|
Code 0138. This is the second adapter I've used.

Good luck of removing this particulate O2 sensor. I believed this is the downstream sensor. I tried penetrating oil and heat etc.. and decide not to change it myself. I took the Jag to the dealer and gave them a choice of not to service if they think it will break. They assured me that it would be no problem. ...... They broke the sensor it and had to weld a new bung hole without charging me extra.

I had the other downstream sensor done by a local muffler shop. The removed and installed the new one for $50. I provided the sensor.
