no flashing turning lights when opening or closing the car
hi all ,
after many many years flawlessly................many problems !!!
actually , the car crank for a long time before starting , just changed temp sensor , swap for a spare MAF i had on spare , no real change !
but looks like after inspection that my crankshaft sensor is a bit damaged (cable)
anyway i noticed that when i open or close the car , my turnlight doesn't flash anymore.....
has someone experienced that ?
this is strange .
keyfob works perfectly , front light switch on when i press a 2nd time the close button....
all ideas are welcome
sorry for my bad english, i'm a frenchie lost in south pacific !
cheers

Long cranking before start could be one (or more) of several things: Failed camshaft position sensor. Failed check valve in fuel pump. Failed fuel pressure regulator. While the crank position sensor wiring "could" be at play, I'd think that would be more likely to result in a no-start or bad running type condition.
No idea on your lack of light show......

The Camshaft sensor that aids in starting is check engine light code P0340 if you can read it , otherwise in your environment it could be a corroded connector that can be cleaned . This is a very sensitive intelligence carrying wire that has to be shielded and your shield wires ground post terminals can be corroded along the aft engine firewall .
