Default O rings

Does anyone have a spec and dimension for the 4x O rings as fitted to the oil filter bypass tube Jag part CAC 5115 (last digit may be a 6).

Tks,
48t

I've seen it posted in here before, do a search on "oil leak" I believe. Also links to purchase sites.

When I worked at the dealer I tried some generic 'O'rings from those kits of various sizes and nothing was a good fit.

The ones that were close were either too thin or too large diameter so I just paid the $3 or $4 each from the Parts Dept and went on with my life.

You can try it but be prepared to shut the engine down if you see oil leaking.

You will need 4 total.

thanks for the advice everyone, I needed the size to get a guaranteed fix first time, as I have limited ramp time.

Here's an updated link for APW oil seal rings for the AJ16, although I see you are in the UK, 2548t.

A must-have while parts shopping there.

For those that are interested the size of O ring part# CAC5118 would appear to be
3mm X 19mmID X 25mm OD

And I think someone specified they should be Viton rings, true?

Viton is the right material for O-rings in hot, oily environments I believe. I sure wouldn't skimp on something buried that deeply
