Question about some tune up parts for 96 XJ6/300

Default Question about some tune up parts for 96 XJ6/300

Hello everyone, I received a paper in the mail with a complete list of tune ups for Jaguars. I see a ignition rotor, distributor cap, PCV Valve, but I cannot find these anywhere, where can I find them, and how do I know that I need to replace them, anyeone??? I appricate it, thanks.

It was probabaly a generic one size fits all tune up thing. X300s do not have distributors. You only thing you have to replace are spark plugs and the coils (if they go bad.)

hello thanks for the response, I just wanted to ask does the x300's have a ignition rotor? And for the fuel injectors they are getting much louder than before, would a good clean up silent them? or would I have to purchase new ones. Please let me know, thanks.

No distributor hence no ignition rotor. Firing order is controlled by the computer. I doubt if your fuel injectors are noisy, what makes you think they are? I think the noise is something else.
