If you are looking to replace your old door speakers I found these for $50 a pair. They are shallow mount, bolt right up, and come with an extra roll of foam tape for flush mounting.
Thanks to all those who posted instructions on removing the door panels as I was able to do it without breaking a clip!

Need a shorter screw than origianl as the flange is not as deep.

 

Might replace the speakers on mine sometime in the Spring, when the weather improves.
Big difference in the sound ?

 

It did for me because mine were fried so bad they just buzzed if you had any base dialed in. I assume I am now getting something close to the sound they had when the car was new. However, if you are looking for deep base and real high fidelity I think you would have to rework the whole system and add a subwoofer. I was just looking for an economical way to listen to my music.
