We picked up the car today and drove the car back 140 miles. All went well.
When I got the car back I have it a wash and a look over.
Fixed the cup holder, it’s closed now.
Polished off all the **** scratches.
Car looks fabulous.

Intwrsing issue. When the doors are open in the eve and it’s dark, the interior lights flicker at a very high pace along with a relay that makes them run. Once you close the door it goes way. Any other car has the light lights in when the doors are open.
Wjay could be ?

And throttle pedal is still stiff. Do I have to take the throttle body off to give it a cleaning ?

Thanks.

Its always a good starting point, if its very dirty chances are cleaning it will solve the issue. There was also another member who found out that one of the plastic or rubber bushings in the pedal assembly had deteriorated and that was causing an issue, so a quick inspection there isnt a bad idea. The throttles on these cars do seem very temperamental, mine used to stick open and after I sorted that its started to stick closed! Im thinking I may need to adjust the throttle stop screw and check the throttle plate clearance.

So far fixed the cup holder. It closes for now.
Polished out all the small scratches. Cleaned the interior.
Fixed the sagging headliner as much as I could with small pins. Sad was not bad enough to warrant headliner removal.

Gonna try to clean the throttle body this weekend.
Mane will try to trouble shoot the steering tilt mechanism. If I could get it down with 12v from the battery, that would be great. If not, I’ll order a used motor from eBay.
