Default No S/N switch

Hi, 5tevie,

I'm curious to know why your Jag does not have the sport/normal mode 'rocker' switch. I never saw a growler emblem in that spot before.

Great write-up by the way, I will use it to clean/detail my car once it comes out of it's Winter hibernation

The 3.2 engine cars do not have the electronically controlled transmission, thus no "sport/normal" switch

Cheers

Another thanks for the excellent instruction on this repair. Even if I don't need to do it now
will make an easer repair later.

I have to add my thanks, 5tevie, because I've been having a similar problem with my car not wanting to start in Park. I've just been dropping it into neutral and starting it there, but I know that's not ideal. It also causes my son and my wife some undue concern when they can't get the car started. I'm going to have a go at that same limit switch soon. I may be able to get at the radio connections at the same time, since that might help me solve my antenna intermittently retracting while I'm trying to listen to the stinking thing.

Having had to remove my centre console several time now - To change some deal bulbs and (most recently remove the radio for a repair).

I have it all down to a fine art - So much so, that the other day i stripped it all down (including the removal of the radio and put it all back together again (without the radio) whilst driving in stop/start traffic, on my way home from work.
